Cowdenbeath and Stenhousemuir played out an exciting 0-0 draw at Ochilview in a game which saw both sides end up with 10 men. Former Blue Brazilian, Pat Scullion was sent off on 48 minutes for a second booking and Cowdens Kenny Adamson was sent off in the dying seconds for a professional foul - definetly taking one for the team!
Both sides had many chances to win the game - Stenny dominated the 1st half while Cowden dominated the 2nd. There was a lack of chances though in the first half with neither keeper really being called into making a save.
The 2nd half started off in dramatic fashion with Scullion being sent off for his second yellow. Pat received a warm round of applause from the Cowden fans who appreciated the effort he put in while in a Cowden shirt.
The best chance of the half fell to Paul McQuade. Fairbairns cross in was vollyed goalbound by Cowdens top scorer but McCluskey in the Stenny goal made a phenomenal reflex save to keep the scores level.
As the game wore on Stenny came back into the game and had a couple of half chances late on. In the final moments a Stenny player was about to be one on one with the keeper when Kenny Adamson pulled him down and was given a straight red.
