Cowdenbeath 0 - 0 East Stirlingshire

Cowden and the Shire played out a nil nil draw of excruciatingly poor quality at a rainswept Central Park. Cowden started reasonably but progressively deteriorated through the match. By the end, Cowden were relieved to hold on for a point as the Shire should have taken all 3. 'Nae goals, nae fitba' as the saying goes. McQuade and Tomana were the only Cowden players to show a bit of spark and imagination. Must do better was the verdict.

Next up is Annan Athletic after the international break. Cowdens first trip down there on league business and they will be out to get revenge for the 4-1 defeat at the start of the season.
