Cowden completed the signing of young goalie Cameron Mackay from Hamilton Croatia (a Canadian team) just before the tranfer window shut. Cameron has played 1 game for Cowden already and was the hero in a penalty shoot out win over Raith Rovers in the Fife Cup. He will provide competition for Davie Hay and Kris Bower.
Leaving the club though was Marek Tomana who has signed for Montrose. The Slovakian started off superbly at Cowden but after getting quite a few knocks he lost his place in the side and failed to get it back. Everybody at Cowden will be wishing Marek well at Montrose were he teams up with another ex-Cowden boy John Gemmell.
