Cameron suffers self-doubt
Cowdenbeath player/manager Colin Cameron is a major doubt for the visit of leaders Partick Thistle to Central Park due to a calf injury.
The Blue Brazil are also without Scott Linton, Liam Cusack and Greg Stewart as the Fifers look to pick up their first three-point haul in 10 games.
Cameron said: "We have had two really tight games with Thistle already this season at their place in the league and then at ours in the Ramsdens Cup. There was only one goal in it both times.
"They are the league leaders but we can go into this game with some confidence and playing an in-form Partick Thistle at home is one of the reasons we worked so hard to win the Second Division and get promoted."M
Partick Thistle welcome back Paul Paton from a two-game ban but manager Jackie McNamara has other injury problems to contend with.
Goalkeeper Scott Fox remains out as does Sean Welsh and they could be joined on the sidelines by Stephen O'Donnell and Steven Lawless who have ankle injuries.
Chris Erskine is also doubtful due to a back problem.
McNamara said: "We have beaten Cowdenbeath twice but neither game was easy. We had a good first half in the league game at our place but they had the better of the second before we got a winner."
"They also had us pinned back for spells in the Ramsdens Cup game so we know that we have to play well to win."
