Cowdenbeath will be without captain Joe Mbu as they look to make it six wins in a row against Morton.
The defender was injured in a midweek reserve game and is a major doubt for the clash at Central Park.
Midfielder Ruben Garcia Rey and striker Greg Stewart will also be on the side-lines through knocks, however recent Spanish signing Pablo Navas could start after an impressive debut as a substitute against East Stirling last Sunday.
Manager Colin Cameron said: "Six wins in a row would be a great achievement and a first for me as a manager.
"We will go into the game confident as we are happy with where we are at the moment but we know that Morton will be out to build on their win over Dumbarton in their last game."
Goalkeeper David Hutton has been added to Morton's squad for the trip after agreeing a 4 month deal at the club.
The Greenock men list the same squad that defeated Dumbarton 3-0 in their last outing which means that the injured trio of Kevin Rutkiewicz, Martin Hardie and Peter MacDonald all remain out.
Manager Allan Moore is up to date with his opponents as he explained, "I watched Cowdenbeath against East Stirling last Sunday and they impressed me as they battled to a win without playing as well as I know they can.
"They are on a good run just now but we are determined to build a good run ourselves and we are targeting 3 points from the game."
