Nicholl back at Beath helm
New Cowdenbeath boss Jimmy Nicholl starts his second stint in charge of the Blue Brazil against Livingston.
Nicholl has a doubt over striker Andy Russell and is wary of the opponents.
Nicholl said: "As soon as I agreed to come back last Saturday I headed to St Johnstone to see Livingston play. They are a good footballing side and it would be a great start to my time here if we can get a win against them.
"Colin Cameron put together a very good squad and infrastructure here and I am looking to build on that. The first thing we have to do is to stop conceding goals and become harder to beat."
Livingston are again without Mike Mampuya and Nejc Praprotnik through knee injuries as they head to Central Park.
Ross Docherty is not involved due to a lack of game time following a groin injury.
Manager John McGlynn is expecting to face a determined home side.
"For some reason teams always seem to start putting in better performances when a new manager comes in.
"I am expecting that at Cowdenbeath, however, I will be stressing to the players that this game will be decided by what we do.
"We put on a decent performance but lost at St Johnstone so the league can get our full concentration now."
