Stewart in for Cowdenbeath
Cowdenbeath have brought in former Ross County and Morton goalkeeper Colin Stewart ahead of the clash with Hamilton.
Regular number one Thomas Flynn is struggling due to a hand injury.
Player-manager Colin Cameron remains out with a hamstring problem with Jason Naismith (thigh), Liam Cusack (knee) and Pablo Navas (groin) also absent.
Cameron said: "We have brought Colin in as a trialist and I have no worries with him as he recently played three games for Stranraer.
"Hamilton had a great win in midweek over Morton but a win takes us above them and that is a great incentive.
"We defeated Hamilton 1-0 earlier in the season so we know that we can do it."
Hamilton welcome back striker Jon McShane into their squad.
McShane has recovered from a knee injury but Jonathan Page misses out as he is suspended.
The New Douglas Park side are travelling to Fife on a high after Tuesday night's 2-1 success over leaders Morton.
Manager Billy Reid said: "We played really well and the win lifted everyone's spirits after losing very unluckily to Falkirk in the Scottish Cup.
"We know we should have done better in the league this season than we have but hopefully we can use the Morton result as a springboard for a strong end to the season.
"Central Park is a difficult venue and we lost there earlier in the season but we want to make up for it."
