Cowdenbeath could have their first-choice strike partnership available to face Falkirk as both Greg Stewart and Lewis Coult returned to training this week following ankle injuries.
Captain Joe Mbu is also in with a chance after getting over his broken toe, but Liam Cusack's knee injury and Pablo Navas' hip problem keeps them sidelined.
Blue Brazil player-manager Colin Cameron said: "I'm sure Falkirk are disappointed with where they are in the table just now but we have no plans to let them get any closer to us.
"We showed great belief in the second half against Partick Thistle last weekend and if we can do that from the first whistle in this game then we will do well."
Falkirk have ruled out young midfielders Craig Sibbald and Jay Fulton (both knee) as they travel looking for only their second win in the First Division this season.
Skipper Darren Dods is expected to be available after a calf problem to help settle the Bairns, who have taken the lead in their last three games but have only picked up two points.
Technical director Alex Smith said: "We are in the habit of going in front and then drifting out of games. Having Darren back will settle the players down as we really need to be picking up three points.
"Cowdenbeath are a well-organised side and have a great player-manager in Colin Cameron, however we need to get our season going with a win."
