Gold in for Blue Brazil
Cowdenbeath have brought in David Gold on loan from Hibs and the midfielder takes his place in the Central Park squad for the visit of Dumbarton.
Greg Stewart remains out with a hamstring problem and Lewis Milne is a doubt as manager Jimmy Nicholl looks for his side to start winning at home.
Nicholl said: "In our last three away games we have picked up seven points and if we can recreate that form at home then we will climb the table.
"We have shown recently at tough venues in Dundee, Raith and Alloa how good we can be. It is time to start doing that on our own patch."
Dumbarton include Hugh Murray after he was signed on a permanent basis from Partick Thistle at the end of his loan spell with the Sons.
Goalkeeper Jamie Ewings misses out with a hamstring injury but everyone else is available to Ian Murray.
The Bet Butler Stadium manager said: "This is a massive game for us as a win could change our season from looking down the way to looking up and thinking about being involved in the promotion play-offs.
"We did well to beat Morton last week but have not won two games in a row all season so that is another incentive to win this game."
