Robbo returns for Blue Brazil
Cowdenbeath include former skipper Jon Robertson against Dumbarton after a deal was agreed to bring the midfielder back from St Mirren on a permanent transfer.
Robertson takes his place in a fully-fit and suspension free Blue Brazil squad as they look to gain their first points of the season.
Player-manager Colin Cameron said: "We played very well against Partick Thistle in midweek in the Scottish League Cup and if we can replicate that form we will get off the mark in the Championship.
"We are delighted to have Jon back and hopefully he can provide the same lift he did when he returned on loan briefly last season."
Dumbarton welcome back a quartet of fit players as they travel to Fife with Scott Agnew, Mark Gilhaney, Nicky Phinn and Scott Linton all available to Ian Murray.
The Sons boss is delighted to be at full strength for a game he feels could prove pivotal in his side's season.
Murray said: "It is only early in the season but if we could win this we would move seven points clear of one of the sides expected to be fighting it out near the bottom with us.
"A win would also give us more points than we had by Christmas time last year and that shows progress."
