Cowdenbeath V Dumbarton at Central Park - Match Preview

Cameron waits on Kenny

Cowdenbeath will give Kenny Adamson as much time as possible to prove his fitness as the Blue Brazil look for their first league win in seven games against visitors Dumbarton .

The defender suffered a groin injury in last weekend's 8-1 Scottish Cup success over Vale of Leithen and player/ manager Colin Cameron is hoping that the 24-year-old will not join Lewis Milne, Scott Linton, Liam Cusack and Pablo Navas on the sidelines.

Cameron said: "We want to get back to winning again in the league as our run of six games without picking up three points is too long already.

"We have home advantage but it will be tough as the Dumbarton players will be out to impress any potential new manager that is watching."

Bottom of the table Dumbarton have interim manager Jack Ross is charge for the third game running and he will have to do without the services of the suspended Garry Fleming.

The Sons are also without the services of long-term injury absentees Kevin Nicol and Pat Walker with Ross hoping that last Saturday's Scottish Cup success over East Stirling will be a springboard for a first league win of the season.

"It was good for everyone that we won that game as it had been a while since we had won a game," he said. "Cowdenbeath were deserved winners of the Second Division, and have started this season well, but we have a bit more confidence about us now so we have a chance."
