Bairns breeze to points
Falkirk scored two goals in as many second-half minutes as they continued their march towards the top of the Scottish Championship with a 2-0 win.
Neither side managed to dominate the first half, which was made tricky by the playing conditions but it was the away side that eventually took the lead through Mark Millar, as he fired home a fantastic effort from the edge of the area in the 54th minute.
Just two minutes later, Rory Loy had doubled the lead when he lost his marker before driving a low shot into the net.
With Blair Alston pulling the strings in midfield, Falkirk dominated the home team who struggled throughout the match to make any clear-cut chances.
The win moves Falkirk to just three points behind league leaders Dundee, while Cowdenbeath remain in ninth, 10 points behind Alloa in eighth.
