Club Historian David Allan's new publication - 'A Question of Cowden' is now available and details of outlets stocking it will be confirmed soon. The 76 page booklet is priced at £3 and is a fascinating compilation of facts for any Cowden fan. It's the Cowdenbeath FC equivalent of TV's QI programme! The club shop has an initial stock and copies can also be obtained from David at 41 Garvock Hill, Dunfermline, KY12 7UR. Postage costs are 50p for mail orders. Shortly David is also to produce another booklet containing interviews with most of the surviving players from Cowden's famous 1970 team. Only Billy Mullen of the surviving players has not yet been interviewed - but David is still trying to set something up with him in Glasgow if possible. David has already travelled to Kennoway, Rosyth, Leven, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Dundee, Rumblingbridge, Kirkcaldy, and Arbroath to interview Andy Matthew's men. Further details very soon.

Cowdenbeath FC this Saturday (17th January) make the journey to Elgin. As the League campaign goes into its second half, the Blue Brazil's challenge is becoming increasingly focused on the top spot. The Cowdenbeath Supporters Club believes that now is the time for fans to seek to make a real difference and do their bit to boost the club's promotion quest. Thus we say get up to Elgin by hook or by crook and make yourself heard backing your team. One way to get there is via the Supporters Club bus which will depart from Central Park at 10.30am. Places can be reserved in advance by contacting David Allan on 01383 724000 or by e-mail daallan6754@aol.com.
